About Us

Thank you for allowing me, Terri Acuña, to introduce my company,
Wine Country PlanIt. This company is designed to advocate the
hospitality industry with an emphasis on supporting local restaurants and
wineries as that is where my background lies and my heart resides.

I am one of eight children raised in the vineyards of Geyserville. I am
fortunate to love what I do for a living and my hobbies include trips to
Pac Bell Park and traveling to exotic lands with my husband, Jeffrey,
and our lovely daughter, Mia.

approach, Entrepreneur Terri
Acuna is rising to the top as an
executive woman in the California
wine regions. Owner of Wine
Country PlanIt, she balances the
growth of her woman-led business
with the foundation of her family.

Terri Acuna’s company, Wine
Country PlanIt, has unveiled the
idea of specializing solely in
corporate client group wine
excursions. She has moved forward
building successful employee
motivation programs tailored to fit
each company.

Terri’s mission “is to help
companies of all sizes realize the
power and cost-effectiveness of
incentive programs.” A memorable
employee recognition program can
be as effective as pay increases. An
appealing employee incentive
program helps achieve maximum
productivity and service results. An
employee recognition program,
employee incentive program, or
incentive recognition program is

appealing when celebrated in the
splendor and charm of the wine
country.

treatments, shopping, gourmet
picnics in the olive groves and, of
course, wine maker luncheons
pairing food and wine to delight the
palette. The possibilities for wine
excursion activities are limitless.

Wine Country PlanIt recently
launched a program that includes
beginning the day facilitating a
process with participants
connecting with their peers for
informal discussions on topics of
special interest to them, and of
importance to their organization.

Being open to opportunities, Terri
Acuna’s vision of Wine Country
PlanIt grows. Her aspirations are to
expand locations to New York,
Italy, France, Chile and Australia.
Terri is well on her way to, indeed,
creating a Wine Country PlanIt.

Power Outage Can’t Keep Christmas
Party Down

SANTA ROSA, CA – December 08,
2005 – Snow and sleet don’t stop
Santa from delivering presents nor
did a power outage keep Ristorante
Fabiani from serving the Tipster
Group their holiday dinner.

With candles lit and guitar playing
silent night, guests of the Tipsters
Networking Group were greeted by
Wine Country PlanIt owner, Terri
Acuna, to celebrate their annual
holiday gathering dinner even
though there was no electricity.
Meals including crab cakes, veal
shank and Salmon Piccata were
prepared by lantern light provided
by one of the Tipster members.

“This will make for a most
memorable holiday gathering”
Janet Codding, a guest of the
evening joked. Wine flowed,
candles flickered, laughter echoed
and fun was indeed had by all. The
group requested the electricity be
turned off for next year’s party as
well!

Ristorante Fabiani is located at 75
Montgomery Drive near Memorial
Hospital in Santa Rosa. Room is
still available for group holiday

Wine Country PlanIt Partners Local
Restaurants and Wineries

SANTA ROSA, CA – May 18, 2004 –
Favorite eateries all over Sonoma
County are hosting local wineries that
provide complimentary tastes of their
hand crafted vintages now on a
regular basis. Restaurants and
wineries join together with the help of
Wine Country PlanIt to capture
business of tourists and locals alike.

“My friends and I now have
somewhere to go to be social where we
know other people will be”, stated
Wine Country PlanIt’s owner, Terri
Acuna, when asked how the company
came about. More importantly
though, this endeavor is designed to
advocate the support of family owned
restaurants that have been long
standing contributors in our
community like the MIXX
Restaurant located in Historic
Railroad Square that is celebrating it’
s 15th anniversary of opening it’s
doors - throughout the month of May.
A congratulations for them is
certainly in order and what better way
to show our support for them than to
come there and enjoy dinner with
complimentary tastings with a local
winery every Wednesday, which will
often times be small and family owned
too – like the Pedroncelli, Pezzi King,
Trentadue, Lambert Bridge, D'
argenzio, Toad Hollow and Battaligni
Wineries.

Celebrating community is what this
effort is about. You support the
restaurants that support the wineries
that support the growers. We are all
connected. Soon, these same
restaurants will be hosting parties for
singles, encouraging ladies night out,
providing a place to escape from the
kids – an atmosphere to enjoy
yourself. The hotels too send their
guests where they are able to enjoy the
perfect Sonoma County experience:
bountiful cuisine, award winning
wine and a chance to meet the locals.

Some of the other restaurants
involved include Santi in Geyserville
where they like the others are
conscientious about supporting the
County’s agricultural offerings, Bistro
Ralph in Healdsburg, Western Boot
in Healdsburg and a new comer,
Zangria Supper Club in Petaluma that
regularly features tapas and live
Flamenco dancing shows.

Bistro Ralph and Western Boot have
also both been in operation for 15
years or more in Healdsburg and are
staples in the community. They and
the others contribute generously each
year to fund raisers for the Chamber,
Rotary, American Legion, Lions,
Boys & Girls, Soccer Clubs and many
more. It’s time for the community to
come behind them now as they launch
their own outreach program because
quite frankly there are too many
wonderful restaurants in our
community that are closing their doors
as a result of having limited marketing
budgets. Partnering the wineries and
restaurants allows the two to share
each other’s audiences while the
audiences share laughter and joy as
they sit around the dinner table with
their friends and family experiencing
life as if at a feast!
